Breaking Open the WordJoin us for a one-hour Small Group sharing on Sundays from 8:30–9:30 AM, as we reflect on and discuss the Sunday’s Scripture readings, starting Sept 7-Dec 7. This is a wonderful opportunity to deepen your understanding of the Word of God, ask questions, and grow in faith with fellow parishioners. All are welcome—no prior knowledge needed. The group will meet in the Small Group Room on 2nd floor of the Family Life Center. Facilitator: Austin Wimberly. Fall Study of the Gospel of St. John

The Gospel of John uses rich symbolism, brilliant irony, and contrasting opposites to highlight the divine nature of Jesus. This faith-filled study uses Little Rock Bible Study materials, online videos, class sharing and prayer.

Women’s Study Group: Come and learn about Benedictine spirituality this fall! The Rule of St. Benedict comes from an era when a great civilization was threatened by violence, corruption, and widening gulf between rich and poor. This is a timely study for troubled times, showing how the values and practices established by St. Benedict and St. Scholastica in the 6th century can help us lead happier lives today.
When: Tuesdays, from 10-11:45 am from August 19 to Oct.14. Field trip to the Benedictine monasteries in Cullman included.
